GTLC believes that the foundation for effective trade facilitation are strong and effective local government market systems that feed into organised national market systems. A process which presents the opportunity to serve national needs and interests, and creates opportunity to be informed in the beneficial participation in sub regional and global trade.
Our experience in the facilitation of tomato trade between Ghana and Burkina Faso which resulted in the development of a roadmap for joint tomato enterprise anchors this position.
In this part of our work we present the opportunity to put in place the building blocks for sustainable trade facilitation. We have in-house capacity to conduct preliminary analysis of market systems at the local and national levels, its facilitation and strengthening.
